OCS Launches the Novell SuperStore in Australia

Norwood, MA - April 7, 2005 - Open Channel Solutions (OCS), the leader in software licensing management solutions, today announced that it has launched a new Superstore that expands software revenue opportunities for Novell resellers in Australia and New Zealand. The company also announced that it signed six new vendors for this expanded venture.

“We have been working with Novell resellers and users for many years, and saw that they could both benefit from access to more complete Novell-related solutions,” said Ed Rose, OCS President and CEO. “Through our new Superstore, resellers can expand their portfolios with a range of value-added applications and consultancy services that will enhance the way they service Novell users, and will provide additional revenue streams for their organizations.”

To date OCS, which has relationships with 350 Novell resellers, has signed the following software vendors for its Superstore. OCS will provide resellers with services and support for these products, which correspond to Novell’s software stack, as well as for others OCS will offer in the future:

  • Brisbane-based Moonwalk systems administration and data management tools
  • Canberra’s Intermine Novell network clean-up
  • Sydney Advansys Groupwise products and development services
  • Bulgaria-based OpenNet Software’s TreeCast collaboration provisioning software
  • US-based BakBone Software for backup and restore
  • British security vendor Sophos
