Open Channel Solutions Delivers Poetic Release 14

OPEN CHANNEL SOLUTIONS DELIVERS RELEASE 14 OF INDUSTRY-LEADING ENTITLEMENTS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, POETIC

Release provides numerous new features, enhanced user interface, revamped documentation

Norwood, MA – April 15, 2007:  Open Channel Solutions (OCS),  the leading provider of entitlement and e-business management solutions, today announced the general availability of Release 14 of its flagship Poetic®product.

The new release adds the ability for an external system to query Poetic’s Order Module to calculate prices based on a client’s current status within a given program, making Poetic the system of record for centralized pricing.  This ensures that all parties are getting the proper price, and that customers get full credit due them within the program for additional purchases and discounts. 

Release 14 also provides an enhanced user interface with many usability improvements aimed at encouraging user self-service and further elevating customer and channel-partner satisfaction.  And Poetic’s systems documentation has been reorganized so that systems administrators can more easily locate the information they need;  it now reflects Poetic’s modular structure, and includes a new Core Management Reference volume.

Other improvements include a redesigned reporting function that streamlines report generation and scheduling; the ability to assign a unique set of activation survey questions to each individual product; support for local-language descriptions of downloaded files; export compliance validation; and a completely redesigned renewal management process.
