Family values and ethos have been behind the success of OCS since its beginnings in 1900. Today, our business has the scale and commitment to make a significant and positive contribution to the communities in which we work.
We know that someone's social or economic background can have a huge impact on their ability to reach their full potential. That's why we support and deliver programmes that develop the capacity and skills of socially and economically disadvantaged people in the communities in which we work.
The issues we've chosen to relate to who we are. OCS employs more than 1,000 people across Australia from diverse backgrounds. Examples of our work include:
We continue to promote work placements on our contracts. We work with a number of organisations who support the long term unemployed and those with a disability to assist with entry into the workforce.
Salvation Army Partnership
OCS in Australia is proud to partner with the Salvation Army, and we are involved in a number of initiatives supporting programs which target those that are homeless or marginalised in the community.
We feel honoured to be able to put our support behind an organisation that makes a huge difference to people's lives, bringing hope to those that need it most.
