Áine Mulcahy, Managing Director
As the MD of OCS in Ireland, Áine Mulcahy's medium term objective is the delivery of a strategic plan to ensure the continued growth and development of the OCS business in Ireland.
Áine's responsibility is to oversee successful delivery of an annual turnover of more than €55 million, where she is involved in the day-to-day commercial management of all site operations throughout Ireland. During her tenure with OCS, Áine has overseen the renewal of a number of strategic contracts including Dublin and Cork Airport passenger assistance (PRM) contracts and Ervia total facilities management (TFM) contract, the development of the Tesco Security contract nationwide and the winning and extension of Irish Rail Security (€20m). With over 20 years of industry experience in senior management roles in both Ireland and abroad Áine is regarded as an expert, innovator and industry leader in Facilities Management. She has a proven track record in delivering best in class levels of customer service to clients across a broad range of Commercial and Public sector organisations.
Leading from the front, Áine excels at customer relationships, with client satisfaction and maintaining compliance being top priorities. She is a proactive member of a number of industry organisations including IWFM, holds a MSc Professional Sales & Business Management and a Degree in Social Studies from the University College Cork.
John Joyce, Financial Director
John oversees a Finance team responsible for billing, contracts administration, purchase ledger and management information. John was previously the Financial Controller for the HPC Group, a builder's merchant group, where he was the principal finance person guiding the organisation through the turbulent 2008 to 2012 period, culminating in a successful MBO process in 2012.
John has significant experience in systems implementation, process improvements, customer relationships and MBO financing. He is a Qualified ACMA Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Derek Murphy, Head of Aviation Services
Derek is responsible for OCS Aviation Operations at Dublin, Cork and Belfast International Airports in Ireland. He possesses excellent communications, interpersonal, leadership, management and relationship skills with wide-ranging aviation operations management experience.
Derek has in-depth expertise knowledge of a variety of aviation environments including Aircraft Appearance, Facilities/Terminal Management, Reduced Mobility (PRM) and Hold Baggage Screening service provision. Derek has been involved with the PRM operation at Dublin Airport for over 15 years and has been successfully managing the Dublin and Cork PRM operations for OCS since 2008 leading to an extensive network of contact across both Cork and Dublin airports.
Derek has developed close working relationships with airlines, airport authorities, clients, state agencies and has led OCS through a period of successful growth and expanded aviation operations in Ireland. His clients know he can be relied upon to deliver a customer focused, operationally effective and reliable solution. He has successfully led and developed the OCS PRM operations to the point whereby they are now considered a model framework for PRM service delivery. His reputation leading him to being contacted by international clients wishing to partner with OCS in the set up and delivery of their PRM operations.
Derek holds a range of training approvals including ACI Global: Accommodating Passengers with Disabilities, the Irish Property and Facility Management Association (IPFMA), FETAC level 6 People Management and Finance Management Training: Finance for Non-Financial Management from the Irish Management Institute.
Barry Smith, Head of Soft Services
Barry has ultimate ownership of OCS Ireland security and cleaning operations for the island of Ireland. Barry is responsible for developing and delivering operational excellence in OCS operations and continuously increasing Cleaning and Security Operation standards while developing robust compliance procedures, measurement tools, improvement processes.
Barry has worked with OCS for the last 14 years, beginning his career in the Finance team, working his way to Finance Manager, before moving out of accounting and into operations where he quickly excelled in his position as National Account Manager for Tesco, growing the contract significantly and developing one of OCS' biggest contracts to a point where there is now a partnership dynamic as opposed to a client/supplier relationship.
Barry is a qualified ACCA Financial Accountant and holds a Diploma in Business Studies from DIT Aungier Street.
Jonathan Mallon, National Cleaning and Catering Manager Ireland
Jonathan has been working for OCS for over 6 years and is responsible for the cleaning and catering divisions in Ireland, he has over 20 years' experience in cleaning services with various public and private sector companies, he has vast knowledge in transport cleaning contracts previously with Belfast City Airport, Belfast International Airport and with East Coast Mainline in the mainland UK.
Jonathan is continually looking at IT and technical innovations to enhance customer service and to drive cost reductions while maintaining or improving the service quality. Jonathan holds a range of qualifications from a BSc Hons, BTEC National Diploma, ILM Level 3, he is a member of the British Institute of Facilities Management, Royal Society of Health and International Hospitality Association.
Lorraine O'Neill, National Security Manager Ireland
Lorraine is a Security Industry expert and is currently the Vice President of the Irish Security Industry Authority (ISIA). Lorraine has a proven track record of improving service delivery for our clients and managing large corporate contracts, providing unmatched customer service and accountability for our clients. Lorraine is responsible for all security operations for OCS Ireland, her unique interpersonal skills and industry experience in areas such as trade union negotiations, employee relations, client engagement, relationship building, customer service and transfer of undertakings (TUPE) experience means our clients receive the best possible solution that embraces the newest technologies and industry training.
Lorraine has been with OCS for 12 years, she holds a Diploma in Business Studies from Ballsbridge College of Business, Diploma in Risk Management from the Security institute of Ireland and holds an ASIS International chapter membership. Lorraine has completed additional training in Security Management, Supervisory Management and train the Trainer FETAC Level 6.
Kirsty Clarke, National Sales Manager Ireland
Kirsty is an experienced Sales Manager with 17 years' experience within the Security and Cleaning Services industry. Kirsty utilises her industry experience in both Sales and Operations to build long-term relationships with our clients, grow and develop our core services streams. She also provides structure and guidance to the Sales and Marketing Team.
Kirsty has been instrumental in the mobilisation of some significant Security Services Contracts, both Single and Multisite. She designs innovative bespoke service solutions for her clients by looking to really understand their specific service requirements in order to exceed their expectations. She is standards driven, customer focused and passionate about delivering service excellence.
