Áine Mulcahy, Managing Director
As the MD of OCS in Ireland, Áine Mulcahy's medium term objective is the delivery of a strategic plan to ensure the continued growth and development of the OCS business in Ireland.
In her five years with OCS, Áine has overseen the renewal of a number of strategic contracts including Ervia (€24m), the development of the Tesco Security contract (€25.5m) and the winning and extension of Irish Rail Security (€20m). With over 20 years of industry experience in senior management roles in both Ireland and abroad Áine is regarded as an expert, innovator and industry leader in Facilities Management. She has a proven track record in delivering best in class levels of customer service to clients across a broad range of Commercial and Public sector organisations.
Under the stewardship of Áine, the OCS Group has seen its annual turnover rise to €52 million last year.
Áine is a pro-active member of a number industry organisation including BIFM, has a MSc Professional Sales & Business Management and a Degree in Social Studies from the University College Cork.
John Joyce, Financial Director
John oversees a team of 15 people responsible for billing, contracts administration, purchase ledger and management information. Previously he was the Financial Controller for the HPC Group, a builder’s merchant group, where he was the principal finance person guiding the organisation through the turbulent 2008 to 2012 period, culminating in a successful MBO process in 2012.
John has significant experience in systems implementation, process improvements, customer relationships and MBO financing. He is a Qualified ACMA Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Tomas O’Brien, Head of Soft Services
Tomas has close to thirty years’ experience in the contract cleaning business having worked with OCS for nine years and previously to this for ISS Facility Services and McDonald Cleaning Services.
He started in the role of contracts manager and rising to the position he currently holds as the Head of Soft Services within OCS Ireland.
Tomas has a proven track record of successfully managing Client accounts. His experience ranges from the management of Government and commercial multi-service contracts including University College Cork, Tesco Ireland, Bausch & Lomb, TEVA, Aer Lingus and the Dublin Airport Authority to name a few.
Derek Murphy, Head of Aviation
Since 2003, Derek has been managing the PRM operation in Dublin Airport and Cork Airport and has been working on behalf of OCS since July 2008.
Derek has built up an excellent personal relationship contact network with key stakeholders over his many years working at Dublin and Cork Airports. He has built up the suite of aviation services that OCS delivers at Dublin Airport through his strong relationships with stakeholders on site.
He has also developed a strong working relationship with the airlines operating to and from Dublin and Cork Airports.
