Today we launch our 2020 Annual Review.
We dedicate it to our 72,000 colleagues around the world as a thank you for their extraordinary efforts during this extraordinary year.
They are our cleaners, technicians and many others who've worked alongside our customers on the frontline to keep people safe. They are our leadership teams, service experts and support teams, who've adapted to the changing environment to protect our frontline colleagues and help our customers.
The publication brings together just some of their stories from around the world to highlight our role in 2020 as an expert and trustworthy provider of essential services. Our colleagues have ensured the safe and continuous operation of key infrastructure in healthcare, data centres, manufacturing and retail. And we've worked with our customers to develop and implement Covid-secure environments to rebuild public confidence. In India, we supported our data centre customers with deep cleans and technical support. And at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai, we provided essential maintenance services for its Covid-19 treatment centre.
Manoj Parekh, Managing Director, OCS India, says: "The pandemic we are living through will have a long-term impact on how we live and work, even as restrictions are lifted and things get back to normal. The current scenario has made us examine closely how we use our environment and reassess what is clean, all the while ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of our customers, customers' customers and colleagues are not compromised. We need to make optimum use of technology to bring about cost efficiency, productivity and performance. This will make a difference."
