New paper looks at the risk of coronavirus resistance and how to avoid it

Our latest expert opinion article is out now.
In it, Global Head of Cleaning Yvonne Taylor discusses whether coronavirus could become resistant to cleaning solutions - just as genetic resistance has developed in organisms such as MRSA.
While there is not yet evidence that SARS-CoV-2 is becoming resistant to disinfectant, Yvonne looks at how resistance occurs and how to avoid it using a method known as rotational cleaning, which is already in use in clean-room environments.
Yvonne has 26 years' experience in facilities management and sits on public bodies including The British Institute of Cleaning Science and the Cleaning and Support Services Association. As our service expert, she advocates a preventative approach and advises businesses to take all precautions to keep their employees, customers and service users safe.
