OCS New Zealand has had a brilliant start to the year, scooping up an award from the Air Transport World (ATW) Airline Industry Awards for the second year in a row.
Crowned the Best Airport Facilities Management Company in New Zealand by the International Transport News Magazine, OCS ANZ managing director Gareth Marriott says it’s fantastic to be able to start the year with an award under our belts.
“ATW promote the companies and individuals who are soaring above the competition within the aviation industry and these awards are considered the ‘Oscars of the airline industry’ – something we should all be very proud of.”
In New Zealand, OCS operate at all New Zealand airports and provide services to a number of airlines including our national carrier, Air New Zealand.
With 30-years aviation experience in New Zealand, OCS general manager northern region Ian West says airports continue to be very exciting and invigorating environments to be associated with.
“The last four years has seen extensive growth in passenger numbers into New Zealand. Being part of this exciting growth phase has seen OCS having to change to meet this accelerated growth.
“We’ve expanded our core services to include aviation specific services such as valet, baggage handling and facilitation services. We also continue to integrate the latest technology and stay ahead of industry trends.”
Mr Marriott says these awards celebrate the trailblazers of the industry and are a great recognition of the efforts of our people at all levels of the organisation.
“Thanks for all your efforts, and let’s keep up the amazing team work in 2019.”
