PCS Manufacturing Team support Field Hospital in Ayutthaya
One of the sectors that have been most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic is the manufacturing sector. The nature of the workplace, where thousands of people work closely together in a closed space, makes the employees vulnerable to the spreading of the disease. Therefore, 101 private enterprises and the factories in Ayutthaya province have initiated "Ayutthaya Sandbox" programme in order to provide safety for those working in the manufacturing industry in the province.
A 6,000 m2 field hospital was set up in Bang Pa-In Industrial Estate as a part of "Ayutthaya Sandbox" where it can serve up to 1,000 COVID-19 patients who are in 'green' and 'light yellow' categories. Apart from the employees within the industrial estate, this field hospital also takes in people in the Ayutthaya area.
As an expert in cleaning and facility management, PCS has been invited by our client to participate in the set-up of this field hospital. More than 20 volunteers from PCS provided cleaning and disinfecting services from the time of construction to the opening of the field hospital on 28th September 2021.
