PCS Thailand and PCS Foundation Gift Schools with 40 Computers

PCS Thailand Gifts Schools with 40 Computers.
Ban Pang Samakee School and Wat Chanthaburi School (Pimprachanukroh) recently had a network infrastructure and dedicated space for IT lessons put in place but were unable to afford the computers to make use of it.
PCS Thailand heard about the situation and decided to take some action; as part of our Sustainability Strategy, Social Mobility includes giving educational opportunities to underprivileged children. So, PCS Thailand, together with PCS Thailand Foundation, organised a trip led by David McGeown, Director of Transformation & Technology, PCS Thailand, and a team of 20 volunteers from the IT department to visit the two schools in Saraburi Province with a gift of 20 computers for each school.
The team visited Ban Pang Samakee School on 16 February and was warmly welcomed by the school’s director, Khun Sirichinda Kaewmanee. On 17 February, the team went to Wat Chanthaburi School (Pimprachanukroh) and was welcomed by Khun Chaba Srisiri-ngarm, the school director.
PCS Thailand is happy and proud that now 221 students from both schools will be able to learn with computers first-hand. We hope that this will introduce them to a world without borders and much more.
