Our front-line colleagues interact with members of the public every day at shopping centres, hospitals, airports and other locations. We are part of the communities in which we work and we play an active role in local and national initiatives aimed at improving lives.

Taking responsibility
We're involved in community projects and organisations as diverse as the people who make up our business. From working with orphanages in Asia to helping the homeless of New Zealand and the UK, read about some of our local initiatives below or click the link to find out more about our CSR work across the world.

The PCS Foundation
The late PCS Chairman Liam Ayudhkij established the foundation in 2007 to support local communities in Thailand. We do this by donating our time and expertise, as well as through donations of money and equipment.
Since the foundation began, we have raised over five million Thai baht. We have paid for scholarships for underprivileged children in rural areas. We have helped to rebuild schools and we have donated stationery and other educational equipment.

We work with associations including Support the Children Foundation, the United Nation World Food Programme, World Concern, the Independent Living Centre and the Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre.
Some of the organisations that have benefitted from foundation funding include Thailand Business Coalition on AIDS, Chulalongkorn Hospital (Princess Srindhorn Craniofacial Center), Camillian Social Center and Satriwittaya School. We make annual donations to the Support the Children Foundation in Chiang Mai, which helps children affected by HIV and AIDS. We have helped fund a new building at Bor Kleua Hospital in Nan province. And we take part in mangrove reforestation activities in Samut-Prakarn province.

An agent for change
We established the OCS Foundation to drive wider social, economic and environmental change, complementing our company CSR activities.

Grassroots giving in Thailand
We employ over 39,000 people across Thailand and our colleagues play an active part in their communities at a grassroots level. For example, we organised cooking and craft classes for children with craniofacial defects.
