Croydon College

Croydon College is one of the largest providers of further and higher education in the South East, with over 8,000 students. The college aims to provide a safe, secure, inclusive environment and needed a security services provider who shared their values.

The brief

To provide a comprehensive security system tailored to the needs of a college with a busy programme of evening classes and an extensive redevelopment project underway.

The OCS solution

As part of the redevelopment project, our security experts designed and installed a comprehensive CCTV network.

By listening to the college’s requirements at the planning stage, we were able to deliver an enhanced system.

One hundred cameras provide full coverage of the campus, with close monitoring in key areas. Access control systems enhance security in critical areas and we also installed an intruder alarm system with over 300 circuits.

OCS has been extremely helpful in terms of support, backup and helping with future plans. We explain our objectives and they tell us whether or not they are feasible, ensuring money is only spent on solutions that serve the college's aims. If you don't need it, they won't sell it to you. They always make you feel like an important customer.
