With over 240 colleagues on courses ranging from a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner programme to a Level 7 Master's degree in finance, we're proud of our colleagues who never stop learning - among them, 25-year colleague Allison Diamond, who is currently pursuing a Level 5 CMI in leadership and management.
Team Leader Donna Bond is another of our model students and we celebrated her achievement on social media during National Apprenticeship Week, 4 to 8 March.
The Team Leader dropped out of university when she didn’t get the right support for her dyslexia. Now she is on her way to completing the Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship standard, which aims to support first line management roles and forms an integral part of the OCS apprenticeship programme. She says: "It's given me a lot more confidence in how to deal with difficult situations and helped me build a better relationship with the client as well."
We also told Telma Meneses' story. The Team Leader, for whom English is a second language, is pursuing a Level 3 apprenticeship, which is helping her to control her stress levels at work by enabling her to do things the right way. She says: "It's a good programme and I would advise anyone who has the chance to do it."
Pictured are some of OCS' very first apprentices with our UK Operational HR Director Justine Vaughan (left). Eunice Rodrigues, Gieddrius Zukas, Ana Correia and Sofia Abreu enrolled in Level 3 Leadership & Management last summer. They have completed the first stage of their apprenticeship and are now preparing for their End Point Assessment.
