Colleagues across the UK took part in Time to Talk Day on Thursday 7 February. From providing information on mental health topics to making time for tea, cake and samosas, 14 teams across our business, in both Destinations & Venues and Aviation & Gateways, played their part in helping to break down the stigma of mental illness.
Mental Health First Aid Instructor Dharminder Singh filmed a video for those unable to take part on the day in which he offered advice about how to spot a colleague in need of support and how to help them. And on our closed Facebook group, colleagues came forward to share their experiences of mental health.
The Wellbeing team's Deena Chouhan joined colleagues at a client site for drop-in session. She said: "People were keen to pop by to take some treats and engage with us at the same time. Our colleagues were grateful that the business took time to meet and speak to them. They work in a very controlled targeted environment, so taking time to talk during breaks is important."
