Portable appliance testing
Our City & Guilds qualified engineers can test all your portable electrical appliances. When you sign up to our service, you'll be given access to our online customer portal. This allows you to keep track of your portable assets and maintain your health and safety compliance records.
Fixed electrical testing
We can perform your fixed electrical inspection and testing programme. Our engineers are approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC). We also hold the NICEIC Hazardous Area extension, which means our CompEx qualified electrical engineers can carry out electrical testing and maintenance at petrol filling stations across the UK.
We'll make sure your electrical installation complies to relevant safety standards and legislation - and that you meet the requirements of your buildings insurance policy. We also provide you with an Electrical Installation Condition Report and certification.
Thermal imaging
Thermal imaging technology highlights electrical risks before faults occur - saving you time and money in the long term. Capturing thermal images of the key components of an installation allows us to see the heat signatures associated with high electrical resistance before an outage or explosion occurs. Faults such as high resistance caused by poor surface contact or an uneven load can be detected in seconds. There is no need to isolate circuits, making it an ideal non-invasive tool for routine maintenance or inspecting inaccessible areas. We also carry out thermographic surveys on electrical distribution equipment.
Emergency lighting and fire systems
We can provide an emergency lighting maintenance service to suit you, including monthly and yearly testing. Our qualified technicians will inspect and test all your emergency lighting installations, including switches, batteries, luminaries and control equipment. You'll receive a full report and certification to show you've met your statutory requirements under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Our qualified engineers can service your fire alarm system(s) too - all under one contract.
Legionella compliance services
We help those with responsibility for the control of their premises to meet their legal obligations in relation to water quality and the control of legionella bacteria in the workplace. Find out more about our legionella compliance services.
Other services
We can ensure you meet your statutory responsibilities and provide a better indoor environment for your employees and your visitors. Our air quality and thermal environment service tests for airborne viruses as well as monitoring CO2 and noxious gas levels. We also carry out noise surveys.
